@OpenLedger I’have noticed something interesting about $OPEN recently. While most traders are focused on the 8% price surge over the last 24 hours, I’m paying closer attention to what’s happening beneath the surface.
I believe the market is starting to recognize that OPEN is not just another token benefiting from the AI trend. What attracts my attention is its attempt to build an economic layer for decentralized AI through Datanets and Proof of Attribution. In a sector where data ownership and contributor rewards are becoming increasingly important, I see this as one of the key reasons investors are beginning to take the project more seriously.
I’have watched countless rallies across multiple market cycles, and one lesson has remained constant: sustainable growth usually comes from a combination of narrative, utility, and execution. Right now, OPEN appears to have all three working in its favor. The AI infrastructure narrative is attracting attention, the ecosystem continues to develop, and market participants are responding accordingly.
That said, I’m not ignoring the risks. In my experience, the strongest rallies often face their first real challenge when momentum becomes widely recognized. The upcoming June 8 token unlock is a major event on my radar. While the unlocked amount represents less than 1% of total supply, I know that markets often react to potential selling pressure long before the actual event takes place.
I’m also seeing signs that traders are becoming more selective after the recent run up. Capital outflows near local highs and a cooling RSI suggest that some participants are securing profits rather than aggressively adding exposure. To me, that isn’t necessarily bearish it’s simply the market finding balance after a powerful move.
My short term view remains constructive as long as key support levels continue to hold. However, I’m even more interested in the bigger picture. I believe OPEN’s long-term potential will be determined by its ability to attract developers, expand network activity, and create genuine demand for its AI infrastructure.
I’m not watching OPEN because it rallied today. I’m watching it because I see a project entering a phase where technology, adoption, and token economics are beginning to converge. If execution continues to match ambition, the current price action may end up being only a small chapter in a much larger growth story.
That’s why I’m staying focused on the fundamentals not the noise.
