Reyad Salahaldeen and Mohamad Mustafa have been sentenced for their involvement in a fraudulent genetic testing and kickback scheme, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ). The scheme involved submitting over $522 million in claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers. Insurers paid $84 million on claims billed through four laboratories connected to the fraudulent activities.
