President Trump framed the move as a decisive blow intended to "help end the war in Ukraine" by draining Russia's primary revenue stream.
- India will also commit to purchases worth $500 billion in US
This massive investment will target three US sectors:
• Energy: Transitioning India’s grid and industry to US sourced LNG and oil.

• Coal: India will be utilizing American coal to fuel it's industrial growth.
- PM Modi has confirmed that India will remove all tariffs for US and Trump has confirmed that US will put it's tariffs from 25% to 18% for India.
