BlackRock's (@BlackRock) spot Bitcoin $BTC ETF recorded $665.2 million in net inflows on October 19, carrying the US spot Bitcoin ETF category to a positive session while spot Ether $ETH funds moved in the opposite direction.

The fund helped push total US spot Bitcoin ETF inflows to $526.7 million. Farside Investors data shows the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) was the only fund to take in money that day, offsetting withdrawals elsewhere.

Fidelity and Grayscale see outflows

Fidelity's (@Fidelity) FBTC lost $83.6 million, while Grayscale's (@Grayscale) GBTC saw $54.9 million leave. According to Farside, the remaining US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded zero net flows.

The Block, citing SoSoValue data, reported that IBIT's inflow was its largest single-day figure since October 7, 2025. The same report noted that the intake came while Bitcoin remained in a tight $82,000 to $83,000 range, with investors concerned that further interest-rate hikes could weigh on risk assets.

Context matters here. Cointelegraph, citing Farside figures, reported that US spot Bitcoin ETFs remain about $88 million in negative territory for October despite Monday's inflows. Separate SoSoValue-based data showed the category lost $229 million in the week of October 12 to 16.

Ether ETFs extend withdrawals

Meanwhile, spot Ether ETFs went the other way, losing $103.3 million in a single session. Cointelegraph reported that the outflows were led by $95.4 million from BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), and that Ether funds lost about $320 million the previous week, their third consecutive week of net withdrawals.

The Block described the latest outflow as extending the negative streak for spot Ether ETFs to four days. Crypto Briefing noted that the split between the two asset classes may point to a more guarded outlook for Ether in the short term, though that reading is an interpretation of the data rather than a confirmed shift in institutional positioning.

Daily ETF flows are a widely watched gauge of demand from regulated investment products. A single large inflow into one fund does not establish a trend, particularly when monthly totals remain negative for Bitcoin and Ether products alike.
