I still believe the bottom is not in yet, but in my opinion, the market shouldn't make a new low so quickly.
It may take time for a new low to form, but right now I'm more interested in the market forming a range to build enough liquidity for that new low.
A new bottom is just a matter of time, in line with my long-term thesis.

Lower-than-expected unemployment claims mean there's no real justification for a rate cut. If they cut rates forcefully in a booming economy while inflation is rising, it could create problems.
However, it's likely that the cut will still happen because Jerome Powell can't maintain current rates for much longer and may feel pressured to cut anyway.

Employment claims came in lower than expected, meaning fewer people filed for unemployment. You might think that's bullish, but I see it differently.
This is actually bad because it means the Fed may not cut rates in December. I still think they will have to cut, mainly because JP has already started and I don't think he will hold back on rate cuts especially with a lot of pressure from President Trump.
But this also means the Fed would be cutting rates while the economy is strong and still growing, which is dangerous, especially with inflation still around. If anyone thinks we're about to get a reversal in crypto and that the bottom is in, they're fooling themselves. I also think the stock market will have to drop. My thesis hasn't changed this unemployment reading only made me more confident in it.
I'll keep watching what happens, but things are not looking good.
