What is Lorenzo Protocol (BANK)
Lorenzo Protocol is a DeFi / asset-management platform built on the BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20).
Its goal is to unlock Bitcoin liquidity: users can get tokenized, liquid versions of staked or wrapped BTC (for example, tokens like “stBTC” or “enzoBTC”) — meaning you can stake BTC and still use the value in other DeFi applications without losing liquidity.
Through its “Financial Abstraction Layer (FAL)” and “On-Chain Traded Funds (OTFs)”, Lorenzo aims to make yield-generating and asset-management products more accessible, bridging traditional & decentralized finance.
BANK Token Launch & Binance Integration
The BANK token launched on April 18, 2025 via a public token generation event (TGE) — participants could subscribe using BNB (on Binance Wallet + via PancakeSwap).
During TGE: 42,000,000 BANK tokens were issued — about 2% of total supply, at price US$ 0.0048 per token.
After launch, BANK quickly began trading on several markets and a futures perpetual contract BANK/USDT was listed on Binance Futures — giving the token wider visibility and trading avenues.
On November 13, 2025, BANK became listed on Binance’s spot market with trading pairs such as BANK/USDT, BANK/USDC, BANK/TRY.
🎯 What BANK Token is Used For & How Lorenzo Protocol Works
Governance & staking: Holding BANK allows users to stake it to obtain “veBANK”, which gives governance rights (voting on protocol decisions, fee-structure, emissions, etc.) and possibly share in future rewards.
Liquidity & yield on BTC: Via Lorenzo you can stake or wrap Bitcoin to receive liquid derivatives (like stBTC, enzoBTC), which can then be used elsewhere in DeFi — so you earn yield while keeping flexibility.
Access to “On-Chain Traded Funds” (OTFs): The protocol aims to bundle yield-generating strategies (real-world assets, DeFi yields, etc.) into tokenized products, making sophisticated finance tools more accessible. $BANK
