But here’s the reality👇 The market is not focused on rate cuts anymore — those are already 100% priced in. What truly matters now are two things: 1️⃣ Will the Fed announce a Quantitative Easing (QE) plan? In simple terms: money printing. There is a possibility QE could be announced, with a higher probability around March, depending on how the economic data evolves. 2️⃣ Powell’s speech and tone This is the real wildcard. Regarding interest rates: I am fairly confident Powell will remain hawkish, and the probability of a January rate cut is very low. The only real variable is when QE starts. If QE comes earlier than expected, that would be a genuine market surprise. 📉 Bitcoin outlook: As shown on the chart, BTC appears to be testing the upper trendline, a strong resistance area. Historically, after Fed events and highly anticipated decisions, pullbacks are common. Because of this setup, Shu Qin is positioning short with low leverage, viewing it as a long-term risk-managed trade, assuming volatility plays out as expected. 💡 Altcoin Opportunity: In periods like this, selective rotation matters more than direction. Privacy and payment-oriented assets like $ZEC and $BCH are showing signs of renewed attention and could present tactical opportunities if liquidity shifts. 📊 Discipline over noise.
