Trading cryptocurrencies for 8 years, from liquidation to steady profits, I want to share my experiences:
First rule: Only trade at night.
The market fluctuates greatly during the day, and news is mixed, making it easy to be misled.
Trends are usually clear after 9 PM; wait for the trend to become obvious before taking action for more stability.
Second rule: Withdraw profits as you earn.
The money you make is not the same as your assets; it’s just a number.
Every time I earn 1000U, I withdraw 400U first to ensure profits are “secured.”
Many people fail to withdraw in time, leading to a retracement that wipes out their profits.
Third rule: Analyze candlestick charts, don’t rely on intuition.
The most dangerous trading is making decisions based on feelings, especially false impressions.
I insist on using indicators like MACD, RSI, and Bollinger Bands to confirm trends; I only enter when I have two or more signals pointing in the same direction.
For short-term trading, look at 1-hour charts; for long-term, look at 4-hour charts, and wait for pullbacks to enter.
Fourth rule: Stop-loss is protection, not a constraint.
While monitoring the market, I dynamically adjust my stop-loss based on the situation to lock in profits;
when I’m not watching, I set a fixed stop-loss.
Getting “kicked” out by a stop-loss is not scary; what’s scary is not using stop-losses.
Fifth rule: Withdraw funds once a week.
Every Friday, I consistently withdraw 30% of my profits; it has become a habit.
This is a rule I summarized from multiple losses; stable income is the hard truth.
Sixth rule: Never step into these traps.
Leverage should not exceed 10 times; beginners should stick to 3-5 times;
No more than 3 trades a day, too many can lead to impulsiveness;
Stay away from “shitcoins” and “meme coins,” they are just cash cows for the manipulators;
Trading with borrowed money is absolutely not allowed.
Finally:
Trading cryptocurrencies is not about fighting the market, but about fighting yourself.
Follow the rules, take breaks on time, and you can survive.
Stick to it for 3 months, if you can achieve stability without losses, making profits is just a matter of time. If you want to steadily succeed, I can guide you on this path.
