The number of new addresses in Tron has increased by more than 60 million this year. In January, the figure was about 286 million, in April the barrier of 300 million was surpassed, and in October the total number of addresses exceeded 340 million.
According to analysts at Tronscan, this progress may have been due to the popularity of the Tron network, driven by relatively low fees and a dominant role in processing transactions in the stablecoin USDT — over 42% of all operations.
The total transaction volume of the Tron network exceeded $23 trillion, and the number of transactions throughout its history surpassed 12.2 billion, of which 1.2 billion are expected in 2025. Daily, the network processes between six to nine million operations, peaking at 2.6 million active users.
According to CoinDesk data, from July to September, Tron processed 65% of the total number of global retail transfers in the USDT stablecoin for amounts under $1000, making the network a leader in micropayments and international transactions.
Earlier, Tron founder Justin Sun filed a lawsuit against Bloomberg, attempting to prohibit the publication of information about the amount of his crypto assets.
