Solitario Resources is an exploration-stage mining company engaged in acquiring and exploring precious metal, zinc and other base‐metal properties primarily in North and South America. The company holds a 50 % interest in the Lik zinc-lead-silver property in Alaska, a 39 % interest in the Florida Canyon zinc project in Peru, and an 85 % interest in the Chambará exploration project, also in Peru.

Institutional interest is relatively modest but rising—some hedge funds and institutional investors have increased holdings recently. Keep in mind: as an exploration-stage firm, Solitario has no steady revenue or profit, and its future depends heavily on successful exploration, commodity prices and regulatory/geologic risk.
