On October 10, according to CoinDesk, the privacy public chain Monero officially launched the latest version upgrade, which focuses on strengthening the defense capabilities against 'stealth nodes' and further enhancing network privacy and security.

As a decentralized P2P network, Monero nodes communicate directly with each other to complete transaction verification and block propagation. However, this open structure can also be exploited by malicious nodes to collect user activity information.

This upgrade aims to reduce such risks. The Monero team has optimized the protocol mechanism to make data flows more difficult to track externally. Monero's privacy system is still supported by three core technologies: stealth addresses ensure that the identity of the recipient is not exposed, ring signatures conceal the true sender, and ring confidential transactions hide the transfer amount, collectively building a more robust anonymous defense.
