Hello again, As promised in my Introductory post, I want to dive straight into the most important part of the digital journey.

**Security**

In an ever changing market, your greatest Asset isn't $BTC or $BNB It's Your access to them. Here are 3 quick "Golden Rules" I follow to stay safe .

• **Private Means Private**. Never share your "Passphrase or Password" with anyone. No Legitimate Support Team will ask for them.

• *"Double The Protection**. Always enable Two Factors Authentication "2FA" but try to use App-based authenticator rather than just SMS.

• **Slow down** Scammers rely on Urgency. If a "Deal" or "Security" alert requires you to act in a minute, take a breath out and verify the source. Building from the ground requires solid foundation. Let's keep our **Asset** secure while we grow.🚀

¿Qué significa SAFU?

SAFU es un acrónimo de "Secure Asset Fund for Users". Binance lo creó en julio de 2018 después de una serie de incidentes de seguridad en el mundo cripto y también como respuesta a las preocupaciones de los usuarios sobre la protección de sus fondos.
Binance decidió entonces:

Establecer un fondo de emergencia.

Tomar un porcentaje de todas las tarifas de trading (alrededor del 10% en ese momento) y guardarlo en una wallet separada.

Usar ese fondo exclusivamente para proteger a los usuarios en caso de brechas de seguridad o pérdidas por ataques.

¿De dónde viene la frase "Funds are SAFU"?

El origen es un meme: en 2018, un YouTuber llamado Bizonacci subió un video de parodia donde usaba la voz del CEO de Binance, CZ (Changpeng Zhao), diciendo: "Funds are safu". Era una mala pronunciación de "safe", que sonaba graciosa y pegajosa.
Binance, en vez de molestarse, abrazó el meme y lo convirtió en parte de su branding. Incluso en la misma plataforma, si hay mantenimiento o algo pasa, a veces el mensaje es "Funds are SAFU" en vez de un clásico "Todo está bien".

¿Por qué se dice "Stay SAFU" hoy en día?

Se volvió una especie de lema entre los entusiastas cripto para recordarse mutuamente que deben:

Hacer su propia investigación (DYOR – Do Your Own Research).

Proteger sus claves privadas y frases de recuperación.

No dejar fondos grandes en exchanges (sí, incluso en Binance).

Estar atentos a scams, rug pulls, y phishing.

Es como una mezcla de cultura meme y una llamada seria a la seguridad.

¿Pero Binance es realmente SAFU?

Buena pregunta.
Ventajas:

Binance tiene buena reputación en cuanto a seguridad, y el fondo SAFU existe y ha sido utilizado (por ejemplo, en 2019, cuando hackearon 7,000 BTC).

Tiene protocolos anti-lavado de dinero, autenticación 2FA, etc.

Pero:

Sigue siendo un exchange centralizado (CEX).

#StaySAFU Scams in crypto? Sadly, I’ve seen it all.
A few months back, I got a DM on Telegram from someone pretending to be a Binance support agent. They offered to "help" me unlock a fake giveaway reward — all I had to do was share my seed phrase. 🚩 Instantly, I knew it was a scam.
Lesson learned? NEVER share your private keys or seed phrases — not even with so-called “official” accounts. Binance or any legit platform will never ask for this.
