A new data has been released. Vitalik Buterin is trying rebuilding all ETH infrastructure. Buterin calls this as way to provide better and secure cryptografis transaction from quantum. He want to build lean ethereum.
This is a chance for newton protocol.
Authorization layer in ETH still using ECDSA signature. In the quantum era, this is very vurnerable. Authorization layer in ethereum must be upgraded to post-quantum like stark-based.
Newton is focusing in three aspect.
AI decentralized, Identity and payment.
The vision of Lean ETH is align with newton protocol in my opinion. 10 years later ETH user will not be human. It's AI agent.
newton is already prepare the framework. AI agent will have identity + wallet + policy packs.
Maximum spending of AI agent will be limited. LIke each AI agent is limited 10 USDC per day.
This is what lean eth need to build.
self sovereign identity in newton will help building lean eth. This is what i thought also in newton. if i login to dApp with zk proof from newton id, dApp knows that i am human. but they don't have access to my KTP.
authorization still valid but privacy keep silent.
newton is also researching about signature integration to survive in quantum era. so the identity agent not get hacked.
so did newton can build lean ETH?
I think so. But it's depend on their research for quantum era. can they really build agent that survives in this era.
Newton need to brave to contact the vitalik. they need to show how the newton.fyi can be used better than ECDSA.
If this complete we can see the lean eth with complex security but also help to identify the agent.
The impact is powerful. If they can secure the collaboration with ETH foundation. I think the trading volume of newt token will exceed more than $10M per day.
But the important think was not the volume. but the authorization layer is proven right.
