The crypto market in late March 2026 feels like a waiting room. Everyone’s here, but nobody’s quite sure when the next move comes.

Big institutions keep showing up, staking ETFs, tokenized stock platforms, the usual signs of mainstream adoption. But there’s also a war in the Middle East, and that tension has a way of creeping into crypto prices.

The Bitcoin price has been holding between $65,000 and $74,000, which is actually pretty steady considering it took a 20% hit back in February after U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran.

Investors are chasing yield now. The iShares Staked Ethereum Trust (ETHB) on Nasdaq is pulling in institutional money, and the New York Stock Exchange is building a tokenized stock platform. Even the SEC signed off on tokenization relief for the Depository Trust Company. The infrastructure is being built, piece by piece.

Regulation is the messy part. The CLARITY Act passed the House last summer but has been stuck in the Senate ever since. The holdup? Whether stablecoins should pay interest. Banks say no. Crypto firms say yes. Lawmakers are stuck in the middle trying to figure something out. Until they do, nobody knows which way this thing goes.

So we looked at where Ethereum and Kaspa might be by the end of 2026. Here’s what the charts show.

What the Ethereum Chart Is Showing

The ETH price is sitting at $2,143. Since late 2024, it’s been drifting lower, each bounce a little softer than the last. It held at $1,800 and is now trying to climb back above $2,100.

Volume is light. That tells you the big players are still watching from the sidelines. Nobody’s committing yet.

The trend is still leaning down. The short-term average is below the long-term one, which keeps things bearish for now. If ETH can break past $2,500 with real volume behind it, that’s when things could start to shift.

GPT’s prediction for Ethereum in the future is that if the “yield story” holds and the staking ETF institutional demand continues to rise, then Ethereum may quietly appreciate throughout the year.

By the second half of 2026, if the market continues to recover and capital continues to flow back to the major players, then the ETH price may reach the range of $3,500 to $4,500.

If regulation eases, then Ethereum may reach $5,000 or even higher. But that’s contingent upon “war, oil, and interest rates mattering.”

The Kaspa price is trading around $0.036. As shown in the chart, there is a steep downtrend in the price, with the price bleeding out from its peak at $0.13, reaching as low as $0.036, which is near the lows of the past year.

Volume has dried up compared to the hype days of 2024. The price is holding above $0.030 support, if that breaks, the next level is around $0.020. If the broader market turns, KAS could bounce hard off these lows.

GPT noted that Kaspa is still early compared to Ethereum, and that’s both the opportunity and the risk. At around $0.036, it’s trading more on potential than real institutional demand.

If altcoin momentum returns and smaller caps start running, the KAS price could move fast. A realistic target sits around $0.08 to $0.12 if it follows broader market strength.

In a stronger bull phase, especially if narratives like high-throughput chains pick up, KAS could stretch toward $0.15 or higher. But it won’t move on fundamentals alone, hype and liquidity will drive most of it.

However, Ethereum and Kaspa are at very different stages. ETH is maturing into an institutional yield play, with a steady grind upward if macro conditions hold. KAS is a high-risk, high-reward bet on altcoin season and retail returning. Either way, 2026 will likely reward patience over hype.
