The Shape of Decentralized Memory
@Walrus 🦭/acc is a protocol that remembers without clinging. It doesn’t store every file on every machine. Instead, it breaks files into small coded pieces and spreads them across a network. Each piece is meaningless alone but powerful together. When enough are gathered, the original file returns. This design keeps data safe even when some nodes go offline. Onchain, Sui keeps track of who owns the data, how long it should last, and who gets paid. Walrus calls those pieces “blobs.” It’s a small word for a big idea, data that lives between permanence and flexibility. Storage becomes something you can reason about, not just rent.
