Hanoi market surveillance authorities have officially referred a major counterfeit goods case to the police following the seizure of nearly 18,000 fake Apple tracking devices. The operation took place at a business facility operated by BAIYAN Trading Co., Ltd. on Duc Giang Street, Viet Hung Ward.
During the inspection, officials discovered 17,600 units of various "Apple Find My" branded trackers lacking legal documentation or proof of origin. The total value of the confiscated goods is estimated at approximately 880 million VND. Following verification with Apple Inc.’s authorized representatives in Vietnam, authorities confirmed that the products were unauthorized imitations.
