OpenGradient is a privacy-focused chat application that uses advanced cryptographic techniques to protect user privacy. Here are the key points about how it works:

Requests go through an OHTTP relay that strips the user's IP address, then through a gateway running in an attested AWS Nitro Trusted Execution Environment (TEE).
The gateway processes the prompt content in plaintext within sealed enclave memory that OpenGradient operators cannot read or log. Conversations are not persisted.
No single party can correlate the user's identity with their prompts. The OHTTP relay sees the IP but only encrypted text, the TEE gateway sees the prompt but not the IP, and the model provider sees an anonymized request.
