@OpenGradient #OPG $OPG
OpenGradient didn't give me the usual "this is the next big Layer 1" feeling, and I actually liked that. After watching crypto go through multiple cycles, I've become less interested in bold claims and more interested in whether a project is solving a real problem.
Most Layer 1s look great until real traffic arrives. That's when the trade-offs become obvious. We've seen even strong networks like Solana face challenges under heavy demand. That's just the reality of building infrastructure.
What stands out to me about OpenGradient is its focus on AI verification and inference rather than simply using AI as a narrative. Whether that's enough to attract developers and liquidity is still an open question.
I'm not convinced yet, but I'm curious enough to keep watching.
It might work. Or nobody shows up.
