“If I give you $100 right now… which coin would you buy?”
Most people rush to answer.
That’s the trap.
After learning the hard way, I realized something:
👉 The question is wrong.
It’s not about which coin
It’s about when and why
I’ve been in positions where I went all-in, held through drawdowns, and waited for price to “come back.” That experience changed everything.
So here’s my real answer:
🔹 I’d choose BTC — not because it’s popular
🔹 But because it has structure, liquidity, and respect in the market
But here’s the part most people ignore:
❗ I would NOT buy it immediately
I wait for:
✔️ A dip into support
✔️ A clean setup
✔️ A defined exit plan
Because in trading:
👉 Entry timing > coin selection
👉 Capital protection > quick profits
👉 Discipline > hype
Anyone can pick a coin.
Few can manage a position.
That’s where the real edge is.
